WIND TURBINE INSPECTIONS

The traditional way to do wind turbine inspections was to stop the turbine with a blade in the six o’clock position, then operatives were lowered down the blade from the top on ropes or cables and they would knock on the blade to estimate the soundness of the material which leads to potential risks, injuries and huge insurance costs for the company.

Commercial drones are changing the way wind turbine farms are auditing and inspecting turbines by enabling the rapid, repeatable, and safe collection of high-resolution imagery and videos of turbine structures and equipment.

Our solution for wind turbine inspections can help clients meet compliance requirements on equipment warranties as well as integrate aerial data with GIS and other business systems.
